SUMMER INSECT BARRIER

Keep unwanted insects out. This lightweight fabric provides an effective screen to reduce damage from flea beetles, thrips, aphids, whiteflies, striped cucumber beetles, and other insects that are virus vectors. Porous to both air and water. It allows 90–93% light transmission without heat build up and is UV stabilized so it won’t deteriorate quickly. At 0.4 ounce per square yard, it’s lighter, softer, and more flexible than Reemay.

Durable and useful

I used this to cover a frame I made, in So Ga 9a where the aphids are abound. This kept everything out perfectly, and was strong enough to make it through a number of storms. I kept it on all season, and the filtered light it provided extended the growing season of everything underneath it. I was really pleased with this product. I fixed it with Velcro; which I do not suggest, because it did cause breakage at those spots. I agree with the other reviews - it would be great if this came wider; I actually duct taped two together to get the width I needed to put around my frame. This outlasted another product I had bought, by twice as long, that product broke down twice and needed replacing. I only took this down because the hurricane Elsa was coming and I didn't want it to pick up my frame.

Nice light weight, fairly strong. worked well. my only wish was that it was available in greater widths, say 10 feet white rather than 6 feet wide. i ultimately bought another product of this sort from another supplier to get the width i needed for my raised beds. if 6 feet wide meets your needs, this is a good option,.
