Malus pumila A classic and American tradition in fruit trees. Apples are a delicious, undemanding, and rewarding addition to the edible landscape.
Introduced from the University of Minnesota, this delectable apple is quite aptly named. Large, round fruit are exceptionally juicy, sweet and full of flavor with a delightfully crisp texture. They have an attractive scarlet colored skin with golden undertones and white flesh. Ripening in early September, the apples can store well in a cool location for several months. Honeycrisp performs best in northern regions of the US, including the Pacific Northwest.
These plants are one year old bare root fruit trees and ship late March-early April.
