Solanum aethiopicum Fast becoming a florist's favorite, these long-lasting cuties look like miniature pumpkins on long stems. Bushy, upright plants are true conversation starters, producing clusters of deeply ribbed, fruit that emerges green, and ripens to deep reddish orange. Strip off the leaves and use in fresh floral arrangements or allow them to dry for everlasting displays. The fruit color will tone down to a mellow orange when dried. A cousin to eggplants, see Eggplant culture for growing details.
