Negronne Fig
Ficus carica Figs are handsome deciduous, fruiting trees with large, tropical looking leaves and a spreading habit. Right at home in a container or in the ground, they make a stately presence and will gladly bear delicious fruit. Figs are self-fertile and typically bear twice yearly, the second crop being markedly lighter.
We have chosen this dwarf variety because of how great it performs in containers or in the garden. Bears purple-ebony colored fruit with sumptuously sweet, garnet-colored pulp on 6-8 foot plants. The fleshy fruit are irresistible fresh, dried, or cooked.
One year old bare root plants and ship late March-early April.
