This recycled product comes from ground coconut shells. It is a great soil conditioner and we suggest it instead of peat moss. Because it holds up to 10 times its weight in water, it reduces the need for frequent watering. Plus, it has a pH range of 5.2-6.8, which is far less acidic than peat moss. Simply soak in water for 15-20 minutes, and you will get 2.2 cubic feet of weed and disease free planting medium. Blend into your favorite potting soil to prevent hardening and suffocating the root zone. Ideal for amending flower beds and hanging baskets. Enjoy your weekends away from home with less fear of your plants drying out.
