Fruit Tree Codling Moth Traps
An early warning monitor that alerts you to impending outbreaks. Adults appear first and lay eggs that become the larvae, which bore into fruits creating unsightly holes and reducing fruit storability. Simply place a pheromone lure in a trap, hang the trap from a tree, and observe regularly. The lure attracts adult male codling moths that become caught on a sticky tray. Watch for population increases and avoid unnecessary spraying. Use 1 trap per tree; lures last 3 weeks. Set of 2 pheromone lures and 2 traps.
