Mexican Key Lime
Citrus aurantifolia A lime for beverages and key lime pie! This handsome, shrubby tree sports aromatic foliage and flowers with small, thin skinned, fragrant fruit and a traditional, sour lime flavor. This variety can bear its delicious crop year-round. Key limes are not tolerant of frost and should be treated as a houseplant in a sunny window during cool months. Cold hardy to approximately 30°F.
Citrus plants are shipped from early April through June. Since they arrive with their bare roots packed in a damp sawdust mixture, please be prepared to plant with potting soil and a 3-5 gallon container. Complete instructions are included with each order.
