Simply press the SunCalc into the ground or a soil-filled pot and situate in desired spot during a day when you expect full sunlight. After 12 hours, the SunCalc will display its measurement as Full Sun, Partial Sun, Partial Shade, or Full Shade. To prolong its battery life, the SunCalc will automatically turn off after 24 hours, but retain its last measurement. Batteries included.
