Maypop Passionflower
Passiflora incarnata These exotic looking flowers are show-stoppers in the garden. Individual flowers open to 3 inches, boasting white petals under a burst of purple thread-like coronas with a pleasant, lemon-musk fragrance. One of the hardiest passionflowers you can grow, the Maypop vine will die back to the ground during cold winters only to pop back up the following May. Blooming from mid-summer through frost, flowers give way to small, yellow, edible passion fruit. Allow the vigorous vines to scramble up trellises, over arbors, or on fences. Hardy in zones 5-9.
Vining plants are shipped at the end of April/beginning of May in 3 1/2 inch pots. Order early for best availability. Complete growing instructions are included.
