Mid to late season, 85–115 days. The most recognized of all fingerling potatoes, Banana is also one of the most productive, capable of setting up to 40 tubers per hill. This golden-skinned variety is easy to grow and widely favored by chefs. Expect loads of 4–5 inch potatoes with creamy golden flesh. The slender, banana-shaped tubers have a firm, waxy texture and a rich, satisfying flavor that shines when baked, boiled, fried, or steamed. Perfect for salads or minimal preparations. Our favorite way to serve them is simply with melted butter.

Potatoes begin shipping in March and shipping continues until we are sold out. We will prioritize orders for warmer zones to ship first and will avoid shipping to cooler zones until threat of freezing has diminished. Order early for best availability. 110–120 days. A great addition for gardeners in the north, Barolo is an early to mid-season onion. The globe-shaped bulbs are an attractive dark red on the inside and shiny on the outside. Adaptable to a variety of irrigation methods and strong against root diseases. Long-day variety. Can be stored for up to 3–4 months.

Tips for overwintering: Sow seed at the beginning of August. Once they are large enough, around mid-October, transplant into the garden. You can harvest green onions until April. In May they will begin to bulb and will be ready to harvest as dried down bulbs by mid to late-June.
