    C. moschata 110 days. A unique eating and ornamental pumpkin, Fairytale has a deeply lobed, slightly squat shape and a magnificent mahogany brown color. A real eye-catcher in the field and at the market. Similar to Cinderella but more deeply ribbed, with a thick, strong handle. Numerous 12-18 inch fruit are borne on vigorous 10 foot vines. The flesh is deep orange and suitable for cooking and baking in pies.

    C. maxima 110-115 days. As luminous and big as the full moon, this enormous, white pumpkin will eclipse all others in the pumpkin patch. Maxing out at 48 inches tall and 30 inches in diameter, this smooth-skinned behemoth weighs in from 60-90 pounds! A staggering display as a jack-o-lantern (if you can manage to hoist it onto your porch). The search is finally over for a white giant pumpkin.

    C. pepo 80 days. We saw Neon glowing orange in our pumpkin trials far earlier than any other variety. Ripening extra early to accelerate the pumpkin harvest, you can start picking up to a month earlier than many other pumpkins. Just right for pies and jack-o-lanterns, the 7-8 pound, uniform globes measure about 10 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches tall. Semi-bush plants.

    (Rouge vif d'Etampes)C. maxima 110 days. This centuries-old French heirloom pumpkin looks just like the coach in the fairy tale Cinderella. The glowing mahogany orange color contrasts magically with the very pronounced lobes and flattened top. Each plant sends out 10 foot vines. It sets up to 6 fruit as large as 15 inches across. Enjoy baked and for pies.

  • Dill's Atlantic Giant Pumpkin

    C. maxima 110 days. Mammoth and colossal don't begin to describe this one. The granddaddy of them all, Dill's Atlantic Giant can tip the scales at over 800 pounds. This buff colored squash originally selected by Howard Dill has taken first prize for size in contests all over the US. Rambling vines easily reach 15 feet and set 2-4 fruit per plant.
