  • Hybrid Broccoli Blend
    BR085

56-100 days. We mix four very flavorful, tender varieties together for a harvest period of about two months from a single sowing date. Contains Belstar, Everest, Southern Comet, and Express. If the broccoli fancier makes one spring sowing and one more in late May/early June, a nearly continuous harvest of big, succulent heads will be enjoyed until fall. Thin carefully, as some varieties grow faster than others.

  • Express Broccoli
    BR087

75 days. A champion broccoli in our spring trials, Express impressed us with its remarkably uniform plants, and magnificent, deep blue/green heads up to 6-7 inches across. It offers strong production of tender, tasty side shoots, and nice, tight florettes. Plants hold their heads up above the foliage for easy harvest. Sow some successive plantings to extend your harvest.

  • Belstar Broccoli
    BR088

66-75 days. Flawlessly uniform, 6-inch heads are beautiful blue-green, densely packed florets. The tightly domed heads are held high off the plants for easy harvest. This variety has excellent field holding capacity and is ideal for both warm and cold weather planting. It performed so well in our trials that it would have been a sin not to offer it.

  • Marzatica Broccoli
    BR089

(OP) B. oleracea Ruvo Group 120 days. Of all the broccoli raab we looked at in our winter trials, Marzatica performed best later in the season, providing ample harvests of robust florets at a time of year when other raab had fizzled out. The flavor is reminiscent of standard broccoli with a touch of mustardy spice. Excellent steamed or stir-fried.

  • Zamboni Broccoli Raab
    BR094

Brassica rapa, Ruvo Group 45 days. Zamboni is a connoisseur's heirloom variety that resembles asparagus more than it does the large domed broccoli of today. It has small, turnip-like leaves, and long, tender stems topped with delicate 1 inch flower bud clusters. With a flavor reminiscent of sprouting broccoli, Zamboni is a great addition to salads or sautéed vegetable dishes. Plant from early spring to late summer. Excellent side shoot production on 22 inch tall plants.

A choice pick for the early gardener and specialty market grower. Harvest the tender leaves, stems, and unopened flower buds; it has a hearty yet mild broccoli flavor.
