Very uniform fruit reach a generous 8 1/2-9 inches long, and have glossy, dark green skin with scanty, white spines. High yielding plants are heat tolerant and exhibit good disease resistance. CU29255 days. Developed at Cornell University, Marketmore 97 is a great slicing cucumber, and is one of the most disease-resistant varieties we offer. Bitter-free and burpless to boot! With vines up to 6 feet long, this northern cultivar bears loads of 9-11 inch, straight, white spined cukes. A first-rate addition to anyone's garden. CU29545-50 days. A mini plant with major production. Bush Pickle bends the cucumber rules by not vining out and gobbling up garden space like most cukes do. The plants maintain a 24-30 inch diameter so you can cultivate them in containers, or tuck them into gardens where space is at a premium. Jade green, straight, cylindrical fruit are best picked at 5 inches long or under for prime quality. Plants yield large amounts of crispy fruit that are equally delicious fresh or pickled. MO.

CU29668 days. Elongated, slender fruits with a crisp texture and the sweet, refreshing flavor of summer. Plants produce absolutely bitter-free cucumbers and even when they get 8 inches long, they remain a slim 3/4 inch wide. Wonderful for fresh eating or cucumber salads. Winter Growing Information -
CU29765-70 days. Flawless and refined, Pepinex produces premium English-type cucumbers on productive plants. These slender, long, straight fruit have a clean, nearly sweet flavor, and not a trace of bitterness. Reaching 12-14 inches long, they have just a hint of ribbing, and an exquisitely smooth, dark green, thin skin that saves you the need to peel. Performs just as well in a greenhouse as it does in the garden. GY. PM.

CU29846 days. The perfect one bite, seedless cucumber that is ideal for snacks, salads, and lunch boxes. Baby cucumbers are quite chic in the vegetable world and for good reason. They are crisp, delicious and a fat-free source of potassium and vitamin C. Rocky matures early and produces an abundance of fruit in both low and high temperatures. CU29960 days. An early, very productive pickling cucumber, Wautoma is a consistent standout in our trials. Developed by the USDA, it produces huge crops of wonderful 4-5 inch picklers, often of better quality than the hybrids. Four to five foot plants resist nearly all cucumber diseases! CU300C. melo, Flexuosus Group 60 days. Called snake melons in the Middle East, this cucumber relative develops slightly ribbed, spineless cucumber-shaped fruit that grow 2-3 feet long and 2 inches in diameter. Burpless and not bitter, these light green delicacies are best eaten when 12-15 inches long. Fruit set well at high temperatures and are straighter if trellised. Vines grow to 5 feet. MO.
